Ship Your Device in 3 Simple Steps

Ready to trade in your mobile device for cash? At Action Mobile, we make shipping your device not only free but also easy! Follow our straightforward steps below to print your free shipping label and send your device to us securely via USPS.

Step 1: Prepare Your Device

  • Select Your Device: Use our website’s device selection widget to choose the device you wish to sell. Once selected, a shipping label with a QR code will automatically generate for you.
  • Backup Your Data: Ensure you back up all important data stored on your device.
  • Sign out of accounts: If signed into an iCloud or Google account be sure to remove all accounts associated with the device before shipping. Devices with such accounts left remaining may prevent a devices’ primary features from being accessible after a factory reset is performed; essentially rendering the device unusable. Trade-ins with accounts left on the device cannot be completed and will be returned to the sender.
  • Factory Reset: Perform a factory reset to erase all personal information (consult your device’s manual or our online help center for detailed instructions).

Step 2: Print Your Free Shipping Label

  • Secure Your Device: Wrap your device in bubble wrap or a protective sleeve to prevent damage during transit and insert in shipping box. Pack the inside of the box with newspaper or copy paper throughout to keep device firmly in place inside box during shipping (prevents device from bouncing around in package while in transit).
  • Visit Your Nearest USPS Self-Service Kiosk: Go to any USPS self-service kiosk, scan the barcode from your phone or a printout, and print out the shipping label. Find your nearest kiosk here.

Step 3: Ship Your Device

  • Attach the Label: Securely attach the printed shipping label to the outside of your package.
  • Drop Off at USPS: Drop off the package at any USPS location. Hand package to clerk or deposit in the rotator bin next to the self-service kiosk. Ensure it’s safely packed and sealed.
  • Confirm Shipment: Keep the receipt or tracking number for your records and to track the progress of your shipment.
